Scores, ranks and awards for a year the Maryland Department of Health has scored are MDH’s published Pay-for-Performance workbook. A year it has not scored yet is SuperLTC’s estimate: CMS’s public long-stay MDS measures from the release MDH uses, with staffing, staff stability, the family survey, staff flu shots, eligibility and Medicaid days carried from MDH’s last workbook. Every page showing an estimate says so. MDH’s workbook keys on its Medicaid provider number; each row is matched to its CMS number by its printed MDS values or its name. Operators are CMS’s chain names; map points are CMS’s geocodes. No patient data appears here.
